Terms of Service

Last updated: 28 April 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Q6 Academy's website at q6academy.com and any related products, software, or services (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who we are

The Service is provided by Q6 Academy ("we", "us", or "our"), based in the United Kingdom. You can contact us at support@q6academy.com.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. The Service

We provide a software-as-a-service offering that includes a starter codebase, documentation, and related digital materials. Specific features depend on the plan you purchase.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes when feasible.

4. Pricing and payment

Pricing for paid plans is shown on our pricing page. Payments are processed by our payment provider, who acts as a Merchant of Record where applicable. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. One-time purchases are charged once at the time of purchase.

You authorise us and our payment provider to charge your selected payment method for all fees, applicable taxes, and any other charges associated with your account.

5. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

6. Intellectual property

All content, code, and materials provided through the Service are owned by Q6 Academy or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the materials in accordance with the plan you purchased and any associated licence terms shipped with the Service.

You retain ownership of any content you create using the Service, subject to the licences granted in these Terms.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service except where permitted by law
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service except as expressly permitted by your licence
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its related systems

8. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by following the cancellation flow inside the Service. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

9. Warranties and disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, except as required by applicable law.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Q6 Academy's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the liability. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
